the cylinder head shop where i got my heads done, tell me that the aluminium heads of a grand national will fit on the series 1 riv. anybody heard this?

I had heard rumors that it would work, but never heard of someone doing it.

Does it look the same?

they do. the old time head shop where i had my heads done are certain that they do. ill double check and and yank on the old guys memory again,but he confirmed twice that they will. champion,makes super ported heads they start at around $750..big bucks

made some calls and am waiting for replys. i would spring for a head swap like this for sure! allthough they appear the same there might be subtle differences that will make the difference...

Isnt there an 89 series 1 riv with forged internals and GN heads and a turbo on here that just signed up recently?
