95 Key Question. Empty
PostSubject: 95 Key Question.   95 Key Question. EmptyThu Aug 20, 2009 6:58 pm

I've had my 95 Riviera for about a year now. I always open the door with the push button. Well, today I tried to open the door with the Ignition key and nothing. Is their a different key for the doors or is their a problem with my door?

Thanks,

I always use the remote also. i would have to check the keys and see which one unlocks the door.
I did get 2 completely different keys with the car.

I have a 97, it has 2 keys, the ignitionkey with the chip, and another, unchipped key for the trunk & doors.

Guess I have to visit my local GM dealer to order a key. Does anybody know the price range for this?

Thanks,

They can make it from the VIN, usually on the spot, the one I got for my '99 cost me $10.
