| Dude, you have come a long way. That is a beatiful vehicle. I remember the videos you posted when you were trying to get the Riv you had to start...and now you got a 08GP. Congratulations! I think the newer GP's are possibly one of the best value's available right now. I have thought about trying to find one for the wife myself, she has already informed me her next car would have to have a sunroof, heated seats and leather....the Riv has spoiled her. Bert | |

| yes i know. the past 2 years i have went thru alot, some of you know what im talking about. with the death of 2 of my best friends, my extreme depression/anxiety problem. i finally just said im tired of all of the bullshit. finished school. got my degrees. now i work in a pharmacy.(No im not a pharmacist) I can honest say that im happy for the first time in i dont know how long. i actually look forward to going to work. i enjoy working where i do. my life in finally starting to turn around. and not for the worst. which is a huge change. thanks guys. i was expecting massive hate comments on this. its good to see that some people can actually see that i have worked hard for what i have got.
BTW Ilan the out the door price was 13,400. thats with my GM employee discount from when i worked at Cadillac. and with both warranty's. so i have the bumper to bumper till like 72K on it. and i have the 100,000 till, well 100,000

| IMO base is the best one for you or myself. i looked at the GXP and the GTP. i could more then certainly afford it. but i wanted something that just works. and this works for me. i love driving it. Ilan i suggest test driving one. even tho its a 4 door it feels like a coupe | |

| I'll definitely find one to test drive. For the moment I've also given up on the idea of owning a Silverado; they hold their value very well and I can't lowball any dealers for one. I'm keeping my car now and the only way I'm getting one of these is if a dealer will cave in to my offer. Prices are around $7,000 so I offer them my car as a $4,000 trade and $5,500 total, including the $4k from my car. | |

| I think NADA showed avg trade for my 98 of around $1400. Avg RETAIL was $4500. Any dealer that gives you 4k trade for your 95, is ripping you a new one on the vehicle he's selling you.
Corey, sweet GP for sure. Not a bad price for an 08 either. Congrats!

| Sorry Ilan this will make you want one even more after i got out of work today. i stopped over to advanced auto parts. and bought a mother clay bar, and some collinite wax. I like Collinite. some do some dont. but i washed the car twice, clayed it 3 times, washed it again, then i buffed the entire car. she was looking nice then i just waxed it twice with the Collinite. she is looking perty sexy. i know its not a GT or anything. but i love it. plus the 04+ seat OWN the 97-03s. they have actually bolsters from the factory. plus im also in shock. that its a W body with working actual cup holders. PICS ARE FROM MY CELL yes i know the bumper is a different color i still need to fix the letters, then mount them permanently. Yes i know there are scratches.paint chips. im going to just repaint it next spring when i do the inferno kit | |

I'm totally confused. I understand you want to try and get $4,000 for trade in on yours, What is the $7,000 and $5,500. I can't figure out what your trying to say.......

| I mean that when the price for the car is around $7,000, although I found one for $4,200, I make an offer of between $5,000 and $5,500 saying that $4,000 of that amount is from my car as a trade.
Either way, if I'm gonna pull that off, I'm better off selling the car on my own to an enthusiast or something on autotrader or ebay. Dealers won't give me a dime over $1,000 for it, and I had one reply who valued my car at $500. :/
And DAMN that car cleans up well...the silver paint looks liquidy smooth; one of the only factory silvers I like in the auto paint world.

| Corey, I haven't been on these boards much lately. I know you started with a Riviera, then went on to a Regal, then a Grand Prix (not this one) and now you have an 08' GP, am I right?
Do you still have that awesome engine you built in something? Is it in that GTX in your sig, or do you not have that anymore?
