| Hey i was just wondering if the snout can be taken off and serviced without removing the entire supercharger. My car is kinda making a screeching noise and im pretty sure the supercharger could use a new coupler and bearings. Let me know if you have any info, thanks. | |

| Yes it can, just make sure you drain out the old SC oil before removal, and you might as well put in some new SC oil in afterward while you're at it. You just need to remove the bolts that appear to be holding the snout on. Some of them get tricky once you get near the LIM so have some good extensions with you. Here is the general area where the bolts are located (if you didn't know). | |

| There is a very good "Write Up" on changing the SC Coupler. I believe it is located under the "Series 1" heading, but will be pertinent to both Series 1 engines and Series 2. It will explain everything you need to do to remove and install the snout. | |
