While looking for MAF sensor on eBay came across this

That's incorrect isn't it? My 96 has a round bottom, not squared off like that.

I emailed them and pointed out the error, they said it was the new style...but I don't think it'll fit a 96 at least

Thoughts?

Right thats the '99+ style for the throttle bodies with out the restrictive MAF sensor post.

there isn't a +...so this is only for the 99 silver editions?

Well its for the '99+ 3800s. So its for any 3800 powered car from 99-05 except the Grand Prix since it got the drive by wire L26/L32 in 2004, and the Lacrosse which got it in 2005.
