| Wheels, Tires and New corner lights. That ought to consume the budget for a while.
It's beautiful, Love the color. that's what I was looking for when I bought mine, but couldn't wait.
What he meant was an engine scanner. So, before you start doing any engine mod's you'll be able scan for all the important parameter's. The most important being Knock Retard. Will help you avoid a detonated and destroyed engine.

| I wonder what those base-model rims would look like painted white... Too pimp? A 'scanner' or scan-tool lets you read what the computer is up to, as well as any problem codes... They can be bought used on eBay, but are still a bit costly, so it isn't imperative at the beginning. Also, the type of scanner you buy, like SOOOO many other things you can ask us, depends on the year & model of your car... Please go into your Profile, and then Signature, and fill it out with some information about The Snowman Year, options, supercharged or normally aspirated... Others may have more recent experience, but I bought new cornering lenses at the dealer a couple years ago for about $40 apiece. There are also threads on this forum regarding plastic polishing chemicals like Plastix and various headlight-repair kits... Oh, and welcome to the world of Riviera - by Buick!

Try looking at: www.monsterpartsonline.com for original GM parts and discount pricing. The shipping to Canada can be painful, but it's worth looking and comparing to what your local dealer might charge. Unfortunately they are not available through the aftermarket. Some people have tried to clean them up by buying different restoration kits with varying degrees of success.

| Looks a lot like my '98' pearl white. I run chrome Helo Axe wheels with 3/8" wide white wall Michelins in the summer. I'm an old guy that knew back then that black tires were on cheap model cars and whitewalls were on classy or expensive cars. Our Rivieras are certainly classy cars. When I bought my '65' it had black tires on it. I put the whitewalls back on it . But thats just me. Every car should be made the way you want it. | |

| I know what you mean - I would dearly like to put a wider tire on my Wildcat, but I can't get a whitewall in the same diameter. So, WW trumps the tire size... | |
