| Ive been through Ohio 2 or 3 times in the last few months and Im only about a 45 minute drive from the Ohio border. If I decide to paint my car when I get back from Army summer camp, I wouldnt mind driving down there for it. Hell, if I get rid of the current one and buy a newer one Ill still be up for it | |

| http://www.funcoast.com/stories/family-friendly/classic-cars-and-breakfast-bay Well I'm a contract designer and been without a contract for awhile so I'll have to find a way to do it on a budget, that said, if we can get a group together we"ll cruise our Riv's, get to know each of the Ohio Gang a little better and have a little cookout at my place in Sandusky...what do y'all say? We still have a couple weeks to shine and drive. There is a LaQuinta hotel that shares my backyard, if the group stays there we can even do a bonfire with beverages too! | |

| La Quinta 3304 Milan Rd. Sandusky OH 44870 419-626-6766 or 800-753-3757 Spoke with Stephanie-she still has about 7 rooms available that weekend including 1 suite. The standard doubles run 119 first night 69 second... suites are 149 first and 99 second, it was recently remodeled and they accept pets...there is a 5 acre field between the hotel and my backyard. I broke it to my wife and she's cool with hosting a little reception, it would be nice to have at least a few Riv's at the show and Sandusky is a cool little town in the summertime. | |

| How did this event turn out? I was thinking about going to the GS Nats this year for an excuse to have a long cruise in my Riv. But some think like this would be real cool if you would have this year i would be game. | |

| I would go too! Does anyone go to Mid-Ohio for anything during the season?? If so I live about 5 minutes from the track and I usually go to Rolex, Indy and Superbike. | |

| I posted and kept checking back for replies but there were none...it turned out to be a great weekend weather wise but there was only one older riv in the cruise.
Maybe I posted the information too late but there are many reasons to visit Sandusky/Norwalk in summer, it's a fun place and with good planning a trip over to the islands would be fun too. August is usually the more consistent of months but last year we had alot of rain.
My cookout offer still stands as does LaQuinta.

| Bill would you want to maybe do something this coming spring? Invite a bunch Buick's for just a general hangout etc. I by no means want to push you into hosting something that might be in a time conflict with your schedule, maybe just a meet up at like a Quaker Steak or something might work first just to get our feet wet. What does everyone think about this? | |

I always go to Acura Challenge (Indy), sometimes Superbikes and Vintage Bikes. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Ok guys it seems like we have a lot of interested people in the northeast part of the state, since I am in Columbus everything will be about the same distance away (I don't mind the drive). Where is there any good restaurants we could meet up at, hang out, bs for a while and go from there? Maybe we could set up a little cruise around the scenic Ohio byway after lunch/dinner (Just a thought). What do you all think? | |

| If we want to do either Cincy or Columbus, Quaker Steak seems like the obvious choice (at least for me), the prices are reasonable, they have wings and its a car hangout. Depending where we go there are two scenic byways, the one near Columbus is the Big Darby Plains Byway (http://www.dot.state.oh.us/OhioByways/Pages/BigDarbyPlainsScenicByway.aspx) the Olentangy Heritage Byway (http://www.dot.state.oh.us/OhioByways/Pages/ScenicOlentangyHeritageCorridor.aspx) and finally the Jefferson Township Byway (http://www.dot.state.oh.us/OhioByways/Pages/JeffersonTownship.aspx). Near Cincy there is the Presidential Pathways Scenic Byway (http://www.dot.state.oh.us/OhioByways/Pages/PresidentialPathways.aspx). Now I have driven on the Big Darby Byway since I grew up around the area, it is nice and rural with some covered bridges along the way. I have no idea about the Presidential Pathways Byway but it looks pretty cool and it seems like it is kinda long (which is a good thing). What is everyone's input on this? April seems like it would be a good month to shoot for since it will be a little warmer than it is now and the trees and scenery will be starting to green back up. | |

| Its whatever we want to do, I am partial to the cruise and lunch idea because it really doesn't cost much and is a good meet and greet ice breaker for the Midwest guys. I like the idea of going to the strip but we need enough people willing to go etc to make it a Buick day. I don't want you Eric to do a lot of work for a small turn out, I know how frustrating it can be. | |

| I'd be up for a meet, or a cruise, but I'd prefer not to race if planning this any time soon. I'm turning 200k and would like to do some engine maintenance (LIM gasket, timing chain, a few other things) before I start running 1/4 miles again. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| That too... I can't hang against 400 HP Rivs!
I'd attend, but would probably opt out of the racing part. Cinci is perfect for me. Would be fun to watch the others. I just dumped 2 grand in the transmission 2 years ago, but there are some original parts in there that weren't rebuilt - ok for the daily grind, but one of these days... _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^
