Hello everyone I am new to the site and riv's. I was looking at Grand Prix GTP's and stumbled across a clean 95 Riv S/C. I have been reading over the site all day and have got alot of info already. Glad to be here. Also anyone else from Ohio..I am from Mansfield if so.

Welcome! Keep in mind that the '95 S/C has the Series I 3800 and most of the mods you may have read about for the Grand Prix GTP are not likely to work. '96 and later S/C Rivs have the Series II and most of the mods are the same as the GTPs. The drivetrain is basically the same, but the exhaust system in the Riv is a drastic improvement over the GTP.

I agree: Why buy a Series II for modding purposes? Still, '95 Rivs are great cars, just not as easy to mod!

Ya I have come to realize the S1 isnt gonna be as mod happy...but really its gonna be my daily driver. I ride sportbikes so I dont need much more speed lol. But I do plan on doing a lil modding...get some wheels and stuff like that. I have wanted a Riv for a long time just never had the means, so I am glad I finally got one.

Well I would but...my car has some bad body work. Drivetrain is great..body is dented and missing clear in spots. I will post some pics after I paint it this spring.

Take some pics anyway, when I got my car it had been covered by hurricane fallen trees. I lost all those "before" pics and I now miss them.
