Full Boar mufflers, everything else is stock. Sounds like my cell phone distorted the sound alittle.

That's only when you hold it in low gears and rev high that you get the popping and rattles. In "D" it never gets that loud.

Put in my 3" DP+Cat today. I didn't expect it to make a difference but holy crap it did. Idle is just nasty now (in a good way). As far as performance gains I didn't see much from the assometer and my very scientific sign-to-sign test proved the same. I saw at most 5mph higher with the distance between the signs being just over a quarter mile (hitting almost 95mph). I'll make/post a video in the morning.

Please let it be known that I bought this more out of necessity than for performance gains. Somewhere on the OEM DP/Cat I had a leak that made a terrible "WOOSSHhhHhHhHh" noise no matter how much throttle was given. This alleviated that although I have a minor leak where it meets the rear manifold. I will fix this in the morning as well.

Here's the video. There are much more pops and crackles and it doesn't sound too bad. If only there was a way to keep the same exact sound only quieter.... Anyone know a good place to get an O2 bung installed?

No offense to anyone, but the only sounds I like from this engine are the idle on stock exhaust and the supercharger whine. Anything else just sounds ugly IMO.
I agree with you Matt. Its hard to get a good sound from these motors. Best sounding one I heard has a cat delete, no resonator, and a single flowmaster 60 with factory mufflers removed. I wish I had a sound clip for you guys but the person who has the riv has since moved. The headers on a supercharged 3800 are enough stock to feed the right pressure to the muffler to give it a nice growl no matter the rpm, but it will always have a drone in overdrive.

Here's part of my run to school this morning. Gives you a better idea of how loud they actually are.

The sound out of the dump is ugly and raw (although never nasty like the bees sounds decelerating on some exhausts). It's like cannibal corpse coming out of the pipe so it's something that most people will find extraordinarily offensive and harsh and some will appreciate it. I've started to. Personally I've never been fond of the signature Ferrari v/h12 & v6 noises that everybody seems to love and I think there's a similarity. The funny thing is when I get on it and open the cutout especially if its a quick thing, it doesn't really sound like a car at all, it's nondescript like some factory machine somewhere in the distance or an airplane or something. I can't wait to take it down the track again and mash it wide open
