Hi new 1995 supercharged riviera owner

Howdy all, I just bought a 95 RIv for a good pricew because the trans was going out it is getting rebuilt at the trans shop now should get her back in a few days and looking forward to getting her out on the road to see what she can do.

I have a couple questions she has 149000 miles I know I have an exhaust leak at the muffler and it sounds like the belt tensionsen is going out (I need to check it out closer to make sure that is the noise I hear) but other then normal older car issues is there anything else I should check out?

Belt tensioner is more likely just the pulley on the tensioner going out. You can replace the pulleys individually for a lot less. Do all the idler and tensioner pulleys soon, you are at the mileage when they start to go bad. And when they go... you'll lose the belt.

I know the following Link is for Pulley and belt change on a series 2 engine, but there is some good info in here to give you an idea of what you need to do to your engine if the pulleys and belts need changing: You still need the specific Data for a 1995 to do yours. Maybe want to buy a used set of Factory Service Manuals if you plan on doing any work yourself.
