| Hello!
New to the group...obviously. I'm in the process of buying a 97' SC Riveria w/78,000 miles on it. It is in excellent shape. Can't wait to pick it up. I know I will be active on this board when i get the car. I will want to know all maintenance and performance tips.
First thing is a good detail. It's factory paint, turqouise/greenish color. It's always had a car cover on it so there are no nicks or dings....I'm really impressed with this car. The inside is grayish leather with rosewood panels all around.
I have been a Buick fan since I was a kid. My Dad was a Buick car/Ford Truck kind of guy and so am I.
Looking forward to chat with you all. I'll update profile and such later and also pics.

| Thanks Guys...Just wondering. I've already made the deal, but is $4,500 good? 78,000 miles. Carfax excellent. I'm buying from 2nd owner. 1st owner was a GM dealership's, service managers wife for till 2008. 2nd owner also serviced it at another GM dealership. Maintenance records look impeccable.
I've actually never have seen it. It's an emerald green factory paint as he describes it. He says the paint kinda chages shade a bit in the light. Green isn't my color of choice, but I hope I can detail it up nice. If there are any good pics of te color I'm talking about, would be great to see.
Now I gotta figure out the cheapest way to get out to the coast and get it.

| Welcome! $4500 is a great price. A Riv in perfect shape that year/mileage could sell for $6000+! Take care of it, and it will take care of you | |

| Welcome. I once owned a 96' Riv with the greenish color. Depending on the sun/shade effect, it would show a hint of grey mix with the green.....wife hated it/I liked it... It also had the "gold package" which meant that it had gold emblems and scripts...wife really hated it/I really liked it.... | |

| Welcome Dc!
Sounds like you got a nice low mile car covered beauty, can't wait to see some pics. I have a 98 with 135,000 daily driver miles. You probably already know these Buick 3.8's can see 200,000 with nothing more than regular oil changes so you have a long road ahead.

| Yeah I look forward to working on it, try to do some performance mods without dropping the mileage, and detailing it. I just gotta get out there to get it! Having a few challenges making arrangements. | |
