My 1997 Riviera SDC10042 I think this one should be in my avatar. Its like its saying, ''Im a Riviera, and Im classy...but at the same time, Im in the hood!''

The spoiler sets it apart from every other Riviera Ive seen so far in the city. I saw a Regal that had it installed, but no Riviera's so far.

My 1997 Riviera SDC10060-1
My 1997 Riviera SDC10061 I decided to say screw the all chrome wheel and do a flat black/chrome.
My 1997 Riviera SDC10062 The hardest part was taping it off. On this one, I oversprayed and made it run, foolishly I wiped it, hence the line on one of the blades. I have to resand this one and respray to make it all even. Aside from that, everything else came out perfectly.

shape of the curvature alone can be misleading. The profile fo the airfoil willstrongly affect lift. Also, at usual US highway speeds the bloomin things don't make a substantial difference. I think that it's above say 90 MPH one might start to get a gain or take a hit... again depending on the size of spoiler and its profile.

I think that those rims are gonna look awesome once you finish them and get them on!I like the bridge to Canada pic the best and what abandoned building was that in your other one?We should have a get together with the Mi riv's! I know there is about five of us real close to Detroit.

To VJD2: Yeah it drives me crazy too lol. I hadn't intended to take any pics that day, but I was driving downtown and I saw this abandoned factory near the Coast Guard station, it was nice and sunny so I got out and got a few pics off. When I got towards to Ambassador Bridge, I went down this dirty back road and got a few more off. Now that I think about it, I should wash it completely and do it over again

Thanks everybody! That building was an abandoned factory just south of the Belle Isle Bridge. There's a Coast Guard station and a new park there, along with a few condominium complexes hidden along the back street off the river. That factory was an eyesore, so I figured it would make a good backdrop. In the other one with the Ambassador, it was at a loading dock/railyard along Jefferson just past the Post Office. That street got the car FILTHY.

I know that Abaddon lives near me, Anoswal, and you, and I think there's another somewhere else in SE MI, and I think there was another two or three in the western part of the state. I ran into a guy on the street with a nice Riviera and told him about the site, as he had never heard of it before. There are some really nice Riviera's riding around, but there's little representation! Maybe I should throw an ad on craigslist?

I have an idea.....us nearby MI riv's should pack up our guns, and go do a group shoot in front of the old train station! I think that with the right vantage point it would look sweet wink

And yes VDJ2...thats grime built up around the front wheel wells lol

Thanks you guys! I think Im going to give it a thorough wash and wax if it doesnt rain tomorrow. This guy said I shouldve painted them white...however, I dont have the centercaps. They want $266 shipped for them on ebay. Im thinking about getting Buick caps and painting them to match.

Clean your damn rocker panels!! shout Haha, just kidding.

Those wheels look great! Nice job but I'd like to see pics with a little more light on the wheels. They are a little dark in that picture.

Looks killer.

Dare I say you could probably get away with matching the chrome fender arches with the wheels (ie: flat black or something). Just sayin.... wink
