Hey guys, new here with a '68 Empty
PostSubject: Hey guys, new here with a '68   Hey guys, new here with a '68 EmptyFri Apr 30, 2010 5:14 pm

Hello!

I've been playing with older Rivs ('68 - '70) for 18 years now, have had some cool ones, and am still tinkering with a '68 I've owned for a while now. Just came across this site. Cool stuff!

Here's the story on my '68 so far... like all of 'em, time and money are the limiters, and we're building lots of cars for customers so the shop is always jammed.

Time will tell how this one shakes out!

See you on the boards!

Welcome Kevin,
This is a great BB. I have a 98 Riviera, and a 1970 GS455 Stage1. If I am not here, I am at www.v8buick.com I recommend you join over there too, for your 68.

Hey Larry,

I've been a member at V8Buick for several years, and had a thread over there on the '68. Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome! I have a few posts here and there on V8Buick but mostly I've been over here. I will be there a bit more as I'm working on my '73 LeSabre this year.

If you are interested in a quick '98 mine is for sale (see for sale section!)

I should probably post it at V8Buick, hmm?!

Hey, I love those old tanks! (Just check my avatar...) The only thing that I personally miss is the Super Turbine 400 "switch-pitch" torque converters that came with them through '67

Welcome kevin.
I recognize you from the v8buick site, and V8TV.
I thought you ended up selling that '68?
Or was it that other projects demanded more time so this one got put on the back burner?

No matter. cheers

That's awesome that you have a '68. That red one on the V8TV site looks wonderful.

So I had to sell the old '68 several years back, but ended up buying a '70... and that's a whole new story!
