| So today I go to fill my rear suspension (MA822) as it was looking a bit sad and low. I get out my compressor, and watch the PSI gauge. 10 20 30... I check the passengers rear side. No movement. What the... 40 50 60... Check again, nothing. Go around the other side and I'm sitting like a monster truck. I check my lines, and they seem good, tightened up the fittings, but I can't get this thing to take any air! It seems to move a slight amount (maybe 1/2") with higher PSI fills, but that leaves my drivers side way way up in the air. (It's on a T fitting) Any ideas? Do I have a failed bag? Any input would be appreciated, I really don't have the money to take this to a shop and find out it was something silly. Also, the car looks RETARDED. | |

| My guess is somewhere between the T-fitting and the collapsed shock there is a blockage, preventing that side from filling. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

Any input would be appreciated, I really don't have the money to take this to a shop and find out it was something silly. Also, the car looks RETARDED. If you had a failed bag, the air would bleed out on both sides. The way the system is equipped from the factory and the only way it can work is if there is NO check valve that would seperate the left from the right side. Need to check every inch of the hard plastic tube running to the side that won't go up and see if there is a kink in the line or as somebody already said maybe an obstruction of some sort preventing air from getting to one side. Does the system bleed down after it has sat parked for a while.? Have you checked for any leaks at the fitting on the bad side. The fitting that is at the shock absorber itself.??? Need to spend some time leak ckecking by spraying some soapy water solution or some Leak Check fluid made for the job at hand. A small bottle can be had at your local welding supply store. It is made for checking leaking gas bottles for welding. I keep a bottle of their Leak Checker solution because I have welding tanks and a propane fired heater in the garage, so I like to check all connections periodically. The store bought stuff works a bit better that mixing some dish soap with water in a spray bottle. But for the use of just checking your Level Ride System, get an empty spray bottle and make your own leak detector and make sure you check the bladders of both shocks along with all fittings and the length of hard plastic tube going to the shock that doesn't lift. You will find the problem if your methodical about it. Dis-assemble the fitting at the "Bad" shock and see if a piece of O-Ring has become lodged in the passage, same for any Tee fittings that may have been added to the system. Replace all o-rings with new while you are ther to eliminate any possible leaks, the o-rings are cheap and available at the parts store or if it is all stock, maybe the local GM parts counter too. | Not sure how you have it piped, but the factory setup will pump one side to the max if the other side has a leak, as the compressor will keep running.
Like everyone has said, check every inch of tubing.....

Like everyone has said, check every inch of tubing..... How can it pump so high before the control arm reaches it's set point and shuts down the compressor. I would think that if the right side was at max height, the left would have to be lifted some as well. EDIT: I just re-read your post and you did say you are using the Monroe line kit and you are filling the system manually, not using the onboard compressor and any of the factory controls. So, disregard anything pertaining to the Factory set up and focus on your fittings, o-rings and tubing for leaks.

| Yeah. this is a manual fill. I think I'm gonna pull the whole line down and examine it soon. | |
