| Robo, have you thought of making custom tie rods similar to this? Just curious, I don't think there would be any need, but who knows! | |

Yeah, those are in the works too.I dont see much improvement over stock with a custom tie rod set? Aside from better bump steer control. But I dont see that I have or feel bump steer? But they will look so much cooler and the spherical bearing would be ten times better in quality than even the most high doller AC Delco brand and for less than half the price! for that reason alone it would be a great mod.

| I should point out,I didnt make it clear in my post, that the RBM and the RSSA are two seperate parts. The RBM is sandwiched between the body and the RSSA. | |

| I went ahead and made the first version of a plug&play hardware kit go go along with the same exact stuff robo got. I can't weld for ass and I'd rather not make those kind of modifications to the RSSA anyway. I took measurements off the original arm (the sleeve area that connects to the RSSA) to get an overall size and went from there. So here is version 1... *The two M12x1.75 (same size as original studs) bolts were purchased (stainless) *Then we have front washers that are 1.5" to take up all the space in the rear well to center everything (stainless) *two pairs of specifically sized heim joint insulators if you will to fill the rest of the space in the RSSA bracket area and strategically limit the movement of the joint some (aluminum) *the 5/8" OD, M12 bolt ID sleeves (aluminum) *rear washer/nut combo also sized to 1.5" (stainless) close shot of the sleeve in the heim with a bolt the assembly I'll share all sizes and probably make some cad/inventor files once I install and at least know it works and make any revisions.

Fundamentally not really. I'm mostly just using custom hardware to fasten it to the rear cradle instead of going through a tricky process of trying to drill the original elongated holes to a much bigger centered hole, and welding nuts to the RSSA. If all goes as planned, this should be a literally bolt-in deal.

| I'll second Karma's post. If you want to piece together a "plug & play" kit i'd be interested too.

| Is the rear suspension identical on the 95-99 Rivieras such that this also would "bolt on" to a 95 or 96?
Depending on cost, I'd be interested as well.
Do you think this will be as durable as the OEM part?

| This is gonna be great! I should add, dont think I made it clear, that the reason to modify the RBM is to hard mount it to the body. This way the adjustment link mod is completely hard mounted and all deflection is eliminated. This will give you TRUE handling with no slop. The rear control arms are soft rubber mounted but because they are mounted longitudinally they suffer somewhat due to the soft rubber bushings. The links control them perfectly. If they were mounted sideways like most rear control arms they would almost have to be modified to extract all performance benefits from a adjustable link.A spherical mounted control arm is Still a Must for a performance rear end.Thats next.
