| I have a 98 with a small dent in fender and door. I picked up real nice doors and fenders from a 97. Will they line up properly? Will the window need to be adjusted to function correctly? I have keys for 97 doors but no key/alarm/trunk thingy. fab, phab whatever it is. Will my 98 work and what needs to be changed to achieve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also can you buy new weatherstripping and window adjustment/alignment componets? | |

| you will have to get the key fob reprogramned. autozone has a service i think. go dealer,go big $. as far as i know, all body panels are interchangable for series 1 and series 2. its probably a good idea,if you dont have one allready,to get a service manual. | |

ALL body panels are the same from '95-'99, there might have been some slight cosmetic differences but all will bolt/weld up to all years. No way to know about the window adjustment until you got the door installed, it may or may not need to be adjusted. - knuckled1 wrote:

No changes would be needed, the remote is programmed for the car itself, not the door. You can install the lock cylinder from your old door into the replacement, that way the key would stay the same. - knuckled1 wrote:

Don't know if they are available but the part numbers for the weatherstrip are: W/Strip Door OpeningR ... 25640327 L ... 25640307 I believe all of the adjustments are made by moving the brackets in slots on the door mounting points, should not need any new components to accomplish an adjustment if required. | |
