Just wanted to say hello to everyone. My mother just passed on her 95 sc riv with 30,000 miles on it because she's unable to drive anymore and she wants to keep it in the family. Fantastic car but I think she hurt it more than helped it by not driving it. It does have a few issues so I am sure I will have lots of questions for y'all. Merry Christmas everyone!

Pretty much no matter what the issues are they're fixable as long as they involve mechanical hard parts. Under teh body & interior the RIv shares parts with lots of late model GM cars. And you're neither the first nor the only list member we've talked through a rehabilitation.

IF I was you the first thing I'd be working on is getting the engine running reliably (not optimally yet) and brakes (they are the most important system), and tires (critical interface) and then body/interior/upholstery repair (parts take long to get if they are available at all). What's next depends on how you plan to use the car.

Welcome aboard.

Wow, 30,000 on a '95 is great! Hold onto that one.

Welcome Kelly!

As said, I'm sure anything that may be wrong with the car can be solved with the info on this site. Ask away! smile
