| I pulled my codes using a DHP and it brought up 1645. Here's what I'm finding for the definition of the code from these sources.
DHP : Auxiliary Coolant Heater Control Module Performance HPT: Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Vent Solenoid Control Circuit '97 FSM: Boost Control Solenoid Control Circuit
Funny thing is all these are items I have been kind of dealing with in some way lately but anyway who's right? I recently restored my EVAP system and got a replacement boost control solenoid so the code is gone anyway but I think it's funny how there is such a discrepancy to the code's definition. I suppose the FSM would be the most reliable source assuming no mistakes were made. I've found mistakes in my FSM before. | |

| P1645 = Boost Control Solenoid Circuit. The FSM is correct . The BCS, however, also shares it's power feed with the EVAP Purge Valve, the Purge Vacuum Switch, the EGR, O2 sensor #1, it's powered by the OXY SENS fuse, and the entire circuit is monitored by the PCM. No idea where DHP or HPT get their descriptions from.... | |
