| hello everyone, i know i promised pics a while ago but i was too lazy to upload em lol. bought a few months ago a 1998 rivi with tan interior right now everything on it except the lines and paint are solid but that should be fixed soon. so far no mods just mechanical tweaks and little things like new bulbs and door speakers and a little scrubbing. in these pics its pretty grubby. but now that we are putting plates on it and moving it to buffalo tommorrow ill be able to clean it and make it sparkle again things to do clean clean clean replace gas lines replace brake lines fuel filter oil change supercharger oil new Serpentine belt Camshaft pos sensor find new center caps paint and remediate rust find new back panel for drivers seat and repair lumbar support find C pillar emblems wood paneling for dash matching shifter knob (beige) fix passenger door (lock sometimes sticks) reconnect airbag control unit (1 plug) once all these things are done ill be a happy camper but untill i get it all done i see it as a new way to keep me out of trouble and off of the streets lol | |

| looks like i may have to wait till sunday to get any work done 12 hour shifts every day this week are gonna be the death of me lol. but were at least gonna get it moved over tommorrow.
found a shop that is gonna repair ALL of the gas and brake lines as well as install the sensor, filer, inspection and fluids change as well install brake components that i supply (hubs, pads, rotors and calipers) rather than bleed lines multiple times for under 2 grand sounds like a decent deal to me. as far as paint i want to do all of the prep myself and take it to maaco i am thinking two tone white and black but it is all dependant on the cost. maybe pinstripe it if i can find the time.
always wanted one of these cars now i have one so i gotta take care of it.
if anyone has any parts in the buffalo area there are a few things i am looking for
center caps or 16 inch rims that dont require center caps power antenna the part in the center console that sticks into the latch emblems wood trim piece for around shifter shifter knob in beige strut tower brace muffler hanger (rubber thing) riviera sticker for passenger side door sill extra trunk light recepticle beige back part of drivers seat passenger side front turn signal lens
if ya have any of these parts let me know. maybe we can work something out.

| update: ended up moving it today picked up a piece of high pressure gas line and mended the fuel line that was leaking so i was able to move it to my place car did not like lol ended up popping a little hole into the piece of hose so when the paycheck comes in looks like i may have to use hydrolic hose to get er movin again or cut and bend a small piece of stainless to fit the hole and patch with neoprene to get it to the shop. anyways i cleaned it today spent 5 hours and still not happy lol maybe i am a tad bit anal retentive but when it is light out i will go out and take pics | |
