| I know this seems a bit early to be thinking about these events but the radio station I work at has already begun planning for back to the bricks in Flint and my mom's company has sent out the family invites for the woodward tent.
Is anyone else planning on going to either of these? I used to start out in one city, meet up with friends and park our crapcans in a lot somewhere and then do a drive up to the other event later in the day and just do a cruise-through. If you've never been to either event, I will say this - woodward is a better cruising event but the brick paved saginaw street in flint makes back to the bricks a really cool walking/interacting event. Have there been riviera meets at these events in the past? | |

| Back to the bricks is a Flint car show the same weekend as woodward. Basically unique and classic cars line saginaw street, which cuts through the good side of flint and is paved with bricks. There are fewer cars and events in Flint but I like that everything is a bit easier to get to. | |

| Its actually kinda nice to do both. I-75 acts as a link between the two events and it's quite common to see racers going at it on the highway. And like I said, woodward has evolved into more of a cruise w/ lots of bystanders than a giant car show/meet. Sure there are still plenty of mini shows and gatherings but the bricks are fast becoming a neat little car show with its own events and swap meets. Plus as scary as it sounds, the section of flint they host it in is quite a nice city to walk around in. | |

| You're right about Woodward....a bunch of gay ass ricers and peoples daily drivers. Usually more of those than actual cars you want to see. Flint ain't bad. It's like Detroit.....the central part is nice....... | |
