New to me 97 Riv SC Rochester, NY

Hello all you Riviera fans, three weeks of ownership with this car and I too am now a huge fan.
Love the comfortable interior, the smooth acceleration, and the way the car looks different than the rest of the “cookie cutters” on the road. The posted picture is my before, after the rub out, wash and double wax is complete, will need to swap that out.
Purchased with 172K for $1700, repairs to be completed include installation of a new GM radiator, upper and lower hoses, fuel filter, and that fun driver’s side door opener project. Air Filter and plugs done, as well as Seafoam through the gas. New plugs made a big difference.
Have been reading posts, and printing out the well done write-ups for the last week, and just wanted to say thank you for all the information.

Thanks for the welcome, no real mods other the the air filter housing, just want to rip that red plastic out, will do while replacing radiator, and a 180 F thermostat, maybe as soon as Thursday..
But hey you never know what will happen in the future.

Same here. I was only going to do a couple of mods and ended up doing alot of them, lol.

yea don now that i think about it i remeber your car.. theres not to many around our area. i think ive seen a white one brown one and now two green like yours..yes we should meet up one night..
