| *Cradle Spacer Mod* ZZP sells 5/16" cradle spacers and WBS sells 1/4" cradle spacers. Either way you go, you need to get 6 and they sell them in 4's since the w-body has 4 cradle mounts - not 6. Custom order. You could just as well make your own from scratch if it's convenient enough for you. I found it easier to start with something that's almost right. For use on a Riviera, they need to be trimmed a little. Here's what you gotta do. That's what you start with. That's about what you need. That picture shows locations 1(front), 3(back), 2(middle) respectively. The last one looks the same at a quick glance but it needs to get about 3/8" taken off both sides. I put them in a vice and used a sawsall and then cleaned the cuts up with a bench sander. leftovers cradle mount points 2 and 3 (back) same with spacers cradle mount point 1 (front) with spacer back two set up ready to be torqued front I could post measurements for some of these but it doesn't need to be ultra precise and some of the angles and spots are hard to represent in measurements. I did keep the cardboard templates I used for these and could easily mail them to anyone so that you can cut your plates beforehand. It's not as easy to create the templates with the cradle on the car so if you are just interested in simply adding spacers then, you'll probably want to do that.

| Thinking of getting some cradle spacers too. After my intercooler install my N* bracket is resting on the hood aluminum, cut right through the insulator. Also my intake tube makes contact with the under hood light. Not sure 5/16's of an inch will be enough though. Would these help make the axle more parallel after lowering the car too? Or would they have the opposite affect? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Since this thread has become current again, I thought I would ask, why do you need spacers? | |

| They're not needed, but it lowers your engine a small amount for added hood clearance. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Not too bad as far as price, easy to do and makes all the difference in the world! Mine were all spent except one and found parts of the old ones in the driveway! My whole subframe was floating around! GM dealership was reasonable and had them in within a day! | |
