| Hi all,
Happy that I found this forum! I just closed the deal on a 1996 Riv. One-owner with 48,000 documented miles. She is in great overall shape, needs only a few gaskets replaced (victim of dry-rot from sitting so long in the garage).
Supercharged, black with tan leather, factory sunroof and the premium sound.
Hoping to bring it home next weekend. This is going to become my daily driver! Planning to do some mild mods for performance, handling, and update the electronics (Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, etc).

| I picked it up today from the dealership. I had a 140 mile ride home with the car, and I wanted more! Most of the ride was highway, and it sure became clear that the Riv was engineered to effortlessly eat the highway miles. She was at ease cruising at 80mph. The acceleration from 60mph to 80+ was nothing less than what I will consider EXPLOSIVE! The peak torque just seems to be right there and instantly available! What a sweet ride! So when I got it home, my 5-year old daughter was excited to see the car. She told me it looks like the Batmobile... Pretty damn cool!  | |

| you need to think twice about updating the electronics... or at least read the threads about radios and alarms.
