Anybody ever put one in your car? For anyone who wants to know, the alu pan mod cant be done to the series 1 without one.

I have used one on a different car/truck. I had a Buick 455 in a Suburban and used a filter relocation kit to enable the plumbing of a big oil cooler as well. As long as the adapters are made properly, there's no reason it wouldn't work. Remember that oil filters do not filter 100% of the oil. Only some of the oil goes through the filter, most is passed from the pump straight into the engine.
