| I don't have the rattling sound but I do now have a slight grind/rubbing type of noise and the boost is pretty weak. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting the 7-9 psi out of my s/c. I will soon purchase a boost gauge to find out exactly what I'm getting. I never before put s/c oil in, I have 168k, I just changed plugs and wires, boost solenoid is opening up while reving up and I have a small manifold intake leak. Quite a bummer without full power...any suggestions anyone?

| have you tried removing the belt and spinning the pulley by hand to see if something is catching? _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black. | Btw. I do get the chirping on the start-up but it eventually quiets down. So you think it may be the tentioner pulley? Or the pulley on the snout of the s/c? Educate me please Also, while its running I can put my hand on the cover of the s/c and feel what may be the grind/rubbing sound Was kinda hoping I could add s/c oil and it stops | |

| Please add at least the year of your car to your signature, and activate it. Year and SC or NA is minimum important information for anyone helping with your issue. | |

| I did remove belt and I did find that there was about 1/4 of play twisting pulley back and forth. Guess its the coupler. Thanks for the tips guys. | |
