| Just installed a FWI and now I'm hearing a high pitched whirring sound coming from the filter side and is louder from the outside. It almost sounds like a power steering pump going out, but I'm 99.99% sure it's being caused by the new FWI. I took it for a spin to test it out and when I shut off the engine, it continued, but decreased in pitch/volume until it stopped about 3 seconds later. Makes me think that it has something to do with the air moving through the new intake making it whistle because one of the tubes isn't secure enough. Ideas? | |

| Definitely sounds like something isn't quite together quite right, from what I remember about that intake.
Also, can you post a picture about the tube you mentioned when you PMed me? | |

| I think I got it. I think a couple of the intake tubes weren't couple together tight enough because I went out to double check everything and they were pretty loose. Just came apart by hand. Fiddled with it a little and got them tight enough that I didn't hear anything when I started it up. I won't be able to check it again until Monday as I'm going out of town. Didn't see any mention of this in the other FWI and was unsure with what to do with where this tube plugs into behind the supercharger/TB. | |
