| I have a 97 S/C with a low speed shutter around 1500 RPM after a easy take off from standing start. No noise, no steering wheel vibration. Runs smoutly before annd after, lasts for only a few seconds. Does not matter going straight or turning, seams a little worse on right turn. I noticed a bit of oil on right side C/V boot, no tear in boot, oil is around clamp.

- clean the boot and watch it. Dry gas will work as cleaner, or 409 or similar spray on cleaner. - when did you last inspect your motor mounts? Albertj

| Does it happen with heavier throttle? Can you make it stop by applying lighter throttle?
How many miles on the car? Have you ever changed the ignition wires? _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^

| Does not happen on hard acceleration, 33000 miles and original wires. I believe it goes away when coasting | |

| Did you determine whether your motor mounts are any god?
Did you determine whether your plug wires are any good?

| Does this happen only in 1st gear? When it's hot? If so, try pulling the shifter down into 1st and see if it goes away. I had this happen to me when my trans fluid was badly overdue for changing and let it go, ended up needing clutches replaced (and a full rebuild at that point because I ignored it for too long).
Check motor mounts and plug wires as recommended above too. Plug wires cause funny things to happen.
