Here are some engine pics there I just got this car a few weeks ago and I just want to make sure everything looks OK. The first pic is an overview of the entire engine. The second and third pics, I just want to know if these look correct? I just never really paid them any attention. Both sit in front of the engine the second pic has a hose that is just open and the third looks like something should be connected. Just checking to see if they look OK. Does anyone have any pics of their 97 N/A engine?

That's pretty much correct I believe without looking. Although in the 2nd pic I'm pretty sure mine is capped rather than being open. Not sure if it makes a difference. 97 as well

Everything looks ok to me too. The second pic, I'm 98% sure that's a vent and is to be left open.
