| Anybody know if there's a sensor or something that can cause the ext temp to read incorrectly? Can I replace it or know where to get one? Thanks! | |

| Its actually just that hot out today!! But in all seriousness, the sensor is right in front of the radiator and condenser mounted to the bottom of the radiator support. You can see it without opening the hood just looking through the gap in the bumper below the license plate. It should be somewhere on the right side, very easy to get at! | |

| Thanks again for the information about that sensor, gents. I plugged in the new one, turned on the car and it said 199F. I was like DAMNIT! and then 10 seconds later corrected to the real ambient temp. I was pissed for a minute! LOL | |

| Does anyone have a picture of how their sensor is mounted? Because mine was hanging there and I'm not sure where it actually bolts up to. | |

| It can break on its mount (most do, imo) Mines just sitting in the lower moulding (taped in), and still works fine. If you look around, near the bottom of the radiator you'll see where it fastens on. One screw holds it on. I wouldn't worry about it not working. Again, mine's fine taped to inside of moulding. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
