| Hello, and welcome to Riv Performance. I'm not sure if headers are available for the nailhead in your Riv, but check TA Performance's online catalog for headers. Be ready for sticker shock... Sanderson may also have headers for you.
Not many pre-80's/90's Riv owners here, but there are a couple. You will find more owners at www.v8buick.com and also on the ROA forum on the AACA website. Give me a minute, I'll get links for you. | |

| I'm new, so apologies if this is old news. Poston used to make long tube headers for the first gen Rivs. I have them on my '65. I think they've become pretty hard to find, but there are some out there. They cross through the X-frame pretty low, so your resulting exhaust system is pretty tight for ground clearance. But they sound great, look great and run great. I'll try to attach a picture if I can figure out how to do so.

| Don't really need them , maybe if your racing. Port your existing manifolds port match also the collectors. I did mine not hard to do then had them ceramic coated, look like polished aluminum

| This is a 4 yr old thread, and "Jose" never bothered to come back after starting it. Probably not much point in replying anymore. | |

| My brother Tim owns a exhaust shop and has no love for headers. He says they invariably leak, so it's very hard to keep them from doing so for very long..........just sayin.. | |
