Hello To All

Hello To All,
I just found this site and I joined it immediatly. I've always loved the looks and the style of the Riviera's. It was May of 1997 when I was able to finely buy one. It is a 1997 model, and I think it has every option that was avalibal at that time. I still drive this car whenever I want to show off! I had to have a repaint in 2004 because of the primer coming off . I later learned that their was a recall on these but my dealer told me it was no longer valid. I now have about 155,000 miles & my girl is still as dependable as ever. My gas mileage has dropped down to about 19mpg. at the best it averaged about 24. I need to find a way to get it back up there or maybe even higher. I was told at one time that a TUNE UP was extremly hard to do because of a spark plug next to the firewall , was very hard to get to. The only tune up I've ever had was done by a garage, but I'm tempted on trying it myself. If I will encounter any problems in tuning my car ,I would appreciate it if someone would let me know. Also if their are any ideas on increasing my mileage I would appreciated this info also. Thanks for now and I hope to make some new friends on here. Later Mike Beasley, :: Birdogmike
