| To all concerned, April 7th will be the N.E GS/GN club Spring Meet. The meet will take place, as in the past, at the Auto Center at Chappaqua Crossing, 480 Bedford Road, Chappaqua, N.Y. 10514. The usual business will be discussed, such as Show dates, Cruises, and our racing events. Costs will be 15.00/person, which includes sandwiches, salad, chips, refreshments, and desserts. Please E-mail John Csordas by March 28th so we have enough food on hand. You can also PM John on V8 or the BPG boards (Skyhawk), or contact me here on RivPerformance E-mail Johncsordas@optonline.net We normally have a lot of nice Buicks on hand especially if the weather cooperates. All Buicks, and owners are welcome _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Larry I don't know if you'll see my PM in time but I am coming. I'm driving the 455 car which I haven't taken more than 30-40 minutes since dropping this engine in, so who knows what bolts might drop out along the way... but I'lll see you there!

edit - I did send an email to John above so hopefully one of you will get the message.

Meeting is at 12 Noon. I'll have my Riviera there. I wanted to bring my 70 GS, but the fuel pump took a dump on me. It's a special billet aluminum mechanical pump, and I had to send it back to the manufacturer. Kind a bummed about that. Should be a nice day with lots of Buicks! See you there. _________________ 98 Riviera SC3800 All stock except gutted air box. 1970 Buick GS455 Stage1, TSP built 470BBB, 602HP/589TQ Best MPH, 116.06 MPH, Best ET, 11.54 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHCda-t_Jls https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfT2tEO4XcU

| Larry it was great to meet you. I was thrilled when I pulled from I84 onto 684 and the 67 Wildcat Convert and orange Skylark pulled on at the same time up the other ramp! On the way home I did about 100 miles tailing a Porsche Panamera at no less than 70. No problem at all keeping up A very nice day and group. I hope to make it back for one of your summer things. I can't go racing without some more metal work under the hood... I don't think bungee cords holding the battery tray in place quite meets NHRA specs | |

Here's a couple and the beginnings of the bodywork http://www.flickr.com/photos/65093156@N08/sets/72157629085965528/ Here are more on my facebook album. I don't think you need a FB account to view these. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.4618659138583.2168941.1055785180&type=1&l=24c2e92589 Basically I've had to make all of the sheetmetal parts by hand because NOBODY makes replacement metal for this car. However, it only needs the rear lower quarter panels fixed up, the rear window lower corners, the trunk floor and the battery tray. Then some paint and she'll be spiffy for years to come! I'm pretty much done with the wheel arches and rear quarters now, going to tackle the trunk floor and rear windows next.
