| I like it to. Retractable headlights are going to make a big comeback one day. You might not see them on all the new cars, but their will be a renewed appreciation for the ones. | |

| I guess I will post pics of my sc even though certain turtles on this site hate scs......but whatever I loved this car when I had it got it from a dealer ...car had been broken into and almost everything stolen out of it I'm talking radio, climate control, door panels, factory amp speedo cluster etc. I knew the car well already before it was ruined as I was buying a cougar for my gf at the time from the same place and the car was near perfect. but around xmas time some pill popping lady decided we no longer needed the cougar and took it out with her hyundai santa fe I have one pic of the cougar but its not pretty wheel smashed in crap hanging everywhere, what I hate most is car was 3 months from being paid off anyway . Anyway point is state farm paid for my attempt at rebuilding the sc400, didn't have it long as the owner of the dealership decided I should pay him 10k for a car that was incomplete despite the paperwork we signed saying the contrary. I ended up giving it back to him after I picked up the xtreme | |

| Nice looking Reatta! I love that gray. It's a lot nicer in person. Oh, and I think you have an '89. If it's listed as a '90, it's a REALLY early '90 because that's an '88-'89 dash/cluster/touchscreen. Which is cooler and looks better than the '90 and '91 anyway . We have a white '89 and it's SUCH an awesome car to play with. It really is a nifty machine. Fun fact - the wheels on the Lesabre T-type are shared with the Reatta, and nothing else. Also, the exact set of wheels I have are from a Reatta. | |

I've already put about 500 miles on it and I gotta say it's really a fun car to drive and seems to get as much if not more attention than the Riv. Mechanically, this car seems to be in great condition after My son installed a new power steering pump (the old one had a growl). Comparing the Reatta to the Riv is like Apples and Oranges...But IMO the Reatta is a more fun car to drive. It loves twisty roads. If it only had a supercharger... | |

| This is a somewhat common theme. I was originally looking at Reattas but I had 3 small kids at the time and needed a back seat and could not afford a toy (those kids again). Was still looking and went to see one on a lot which was parked next to a Riv. Great looks and a back seat. The Riv accelerates faster than the Riv since it has more power with surprisingly not much more additional weight.

| Very nice!! I've always thought what a cool two seater. The convertibles are more high dollar of course. (the top goes down the price goes up). LOL Good find, lucky dog!! | |

| Holy cow man...I haven't seen one THAT nice in a super long time. That tail light is in incredible shape! And the wheels look amazing too, knowing how easily that type can get roughed up.

| Very clean, car looks like it's in top condition, especially for being 22 years old! The Reatta is FWD right? Reminds me of a (very)classy Integra or something. Small and tossable, looks like fun! | |

| I don't mean to answer for Dave, but yes the Reatta is FWD. BUT....back in the late '80s they made a few turbo RWD prototypes. Just a little trivia . | |

| Wow, great info, Dave. Didn't realize how heavy the Reatta was! That 16 PSI version surely caught my attention. Even by modern standards, that's pretty darn quick. For 1989, it would have been one of the fastest cars on the road. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I've always felt the color red suited the Reatta very well! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |
