My low beams stay on randomly during the day even during bright sunshine, it's not the DRL's. I saw another Riv the other day and his light were on too. Is the sentinel too sensitive or a common issue?

Ambient light sensor. Last I checked it was unavailable.

As you said they are not available new and I don't want to try a 20 year old part.

I have checked this part number before and I'm pretty sure it's a unicorn. I did email oemcats.com but I am not hopeful.

Wasn't there a post somewhere on here about the photocell that could be installed in the sentinel housing, kind of like how one can mcguyver new light bulbs or LEDs into the door pull light pigtails?
