what are these types of Rims called?

Mooneyes, smoothies. They're just wheelcovers that you can either screw in to the wheel, or clip on like a hubcap. You'd be better off with the screw in kind.

they would look really bad on the riv IMO. and white walls...

It would look better than the rather ugly silver painted wheels.

I think the aluminum mooneyes would look good to go with the rounded look of the riv...very unique.

I can get these 18's for 1100 after tax. Tires included with roadside hazard assistance. Normally priced at 1600. They have sort of a Z06 look to them. Good deal or should I keep looking?

They sorta look like something you'd find on a truck. It's hard to say how they'd look on your car.

I think 18's would look good. The 20's on the CarDomain page that Jim found are TOO big! Have them put your Riv on a lift and try a wheel before you mount them to see if you like it.
