What if I screwed up? Empty
PostSubject: What if I screwed up?    What if I screwed up? EmptyWed Nov 03, 2021 12:01 pm

Changing LIM gasket. I put LIM and gasket back on hand tight with ratchet not torqued to spec yet. I neglected to clean out the bolt holes or put thread locker on threads. This was two days ago. Now I think I should take the LIM back off clean bolt holes and reinstall with loc-tite. Is this OK to do or did I ruin the gasket already? Should I reapply rtv on the ends of those runners again? Any help is appreciated I have to get this done today. Thanks.
