Forgot to say, I don't have any more of the decals, I couldn't get ahold of the guy that made them for me the last time and I have run out. The ad for them is going to be removed from the next Riview.

Rickw,
Sorry, I don't have a video camera. I'll tell ya, Randall is one talented guy. He had the dash apart in 5 minutes (w/o breaking one clip!) and spent about 4 hours preping/gluing on the wood grain veneer with such precision and patience.

As Randall mentioned, the biggest class was the 95-99 w/ about 20 of them. Of those, I think 4 were 99 Silver Arrows. The 86-93 had 6....the most ever for that class. My 92 took 2nd in this class. There were about 300 people in attendance.

Thanks Dave, I think ... I do know the differences between the '95 and all the rest now thats for sure. Even the Sherwood kit wasn't a great fit on Ed and Sherry's '99 and I hate that I didn't get the doors finished. Of course it might have gone a little quicker if I hadn't had all those ... beer

Here is a picture that is posted on the ROA website:

International Meet of the Riviera Owners Association 2010 - Page 2 Hershe10

I am pretty sure that is RivPerformance member ZEP's Riv on the end, and his '95 right next to it, and I believe congratulations are in order because I do believe the '95 was the Riv that won 1st place in the '95-'99 class! I was glad to see that a '95 beat out all of the Silver Arrows in attendance!

Correct me if I'm wrong here ZEP?

Looks like I'll have to schedule a service appointment with Randall in N.C. sometime in the future then.

Sounds like all y'all had a good time and a great turn out.
Wish I could have made it.

Congrat's to all you Trophy and plaque winners.

BTW, all y'all is plural for y'all.

Rick's right that the ideal action is to open the blower snout and inspect - but knowing how bulletproof these blowers are, and since you ran it already, you're probably okay at this point. Change out the oil no matter what. Any damage is already done, and minimal, imo. After all, plastic is a form of solid petroleum!

I'm not real sure Aaron, but does this post actually belong here?

Just wondering?

I guess Zach is kind of shy and/or doesn’t want to brag, or because the ’95 belongs to his dad, he didn’t confirm that their ’95 won at the ROA Meet at Hershey.

Anyway congratulations to Zach and his dad for a couple of nice Rivs!
