Hi, I am a newbie, and I am here to try to get some information about these awesome cars. I have always kinda overlooked them (I'm a Ford guy) (Shudder!!), but I have an opportunity to get a cherry original 65, and I need some info on it!

Greetings!

Watch for hidden rust. Get the car on a lift and look closely. Get in the trunk also and look around. Pull the backseat out as well.

Welcome! We are open to all Riv discussion, but you'll find most of the info here leans towards the 8th gen Rivs, the '95-'99s. Check out the Riviera Owners Association, http://www.rivowners.org/ for some great info on the early Rivs.
