Oil Level Sensor Orientation ? Empty
PostSubject: Oil Level Sensor Orientation ?   Oil Level Sensor Orientation ? EmptyFri Feb 24, 2012 1:09 pm

Hey, I'm puting in a new oil pan. The oil level sensor is in that yellowish cone, but there appears to be two optical sensors on the end of the flat circuit board in there...on both sides...

But is there a definate up position? Should the sensor be "up" or does it even matter?

Thanks!
N

it's also possible, that once it's tight, it's in the right orientation...if they put the pattern of the screw on the part...

guess I'll find out smile

UPDATE:
Yup it just scews in and gets tight where it gets tight...period. Mine is now sideways, but no lights so all good.
