Hello everybody, My name is Mike I'm from the Boston area. I just picked up a 96 sc Riv ! I dont know much about this generation Riv so I'm sure I'll have alot of questions about her. I also have a 67 Riv and a 76 Cutlass. looking forward to getting to know the members here. -Mike G.

Welcome Mike! If you ever need any help I am right up the road in Reading. I had a '98 heavily modified, still in the family, we also have a '73 LeSabre and '54 MG TF, plus my brother has a '69 Special. If you ever need help with any of your cars let me know!

At some point or another I had my '98 basically all apart, switching engines/transmissions, had the subframe out, pulled most of the interior apart for a stereo install, etc. Also have done a lot of custom tuning. (not sure my tuner will work with a '96 though).

Anyway, send me a PM if you want my email/facebook/etc.

-Derek

Excellent, another Mass owner.

I swear we do have a lot of late model Riv in MA but it's a shame their are not more of them on here.

Welcome Mike! I'm also a new member a week into ownership. I officially live in New Hampshire, but spend most of my time in Dorchester (for my girlfriend's sake) and Boston/ Cambridge (where I work). Mine is a '95 Supercharged car, I also have a '88 LeSabre T-Type and an '83 Regal T-Type.

I'm sorry if I can't answer too many questions you might have about your S/C Riv, as I'm learning about mine as we speak, but I AM always backyard shopping as I drive all over the place, so I just might find something or be on the look out for something you're interested in.

PLUS, there are plenty of scrapyards in the Manchester, NH area I can keep an eye out for items at.

Good Luck with your car!!

~Shawn~
