I have been wanting to add turn signals to my side mirrors. I finally started today. I got some mirrors with turn signals from ebay and started to hack them up. I cut the section out with the led light. Then cut a matching section in the rivi mirror housing. I then bonded the two pieces together with epoxy then smoothed with plastic filler. They are just roughed in, as you can see in the pictures it started to rain so this is as far as I got with the project. I have to get this done before I get the car painted. I will post more pics as the project progresses.

I wonder if a Hella repeater or a clearance light would work?

There is a decent amount of room in the housing. I will try to get a picture of the cavity behind the motor when it stops raining.

Very Cool!!!
What about a pointer behind the mirror. I have seen these on some cars. I would not want to give up the dimmer or heated feature that I have now.
Also, could you post a close up of the wheels?

You run the wires to the turn signal circuit. The simplest way would be to tie them into the lights themselves, but there has to be a point that you could tie into between them and the stalk on the steering column.

What year(s) PA have the integrated turn signals in the mirrors? I assume you mean in the glass?

Integrating the LEDs behind the glass is simple like video posted on the first page. Except those kits will have low daylight visibility and questionable build quality.
It's as simple asrouting to the turn signl stalk and have 12v hot at all times or simply tap in after LCM or at the sidemarker/front turn signal wiring.
