| If you end up parting it out, I am very interested in the CD holder. It just pulls right out with the ash tray cover. I am also interested in the left and right steering knuckles. Lastly, under the front bumper there is an air deflector held on with 10 push pins. I would gladly be willing to drop some $$ on those things. | |

| Oooh. I want the tiny screw cover behind the interior driver's door handle. It's a little red circle. Does your's still have it?

I can give you the CD holder(s) modules if you want them. I have two that can likely be repaired and made into one working unit. One has one of the "eject" buttons missing, the other is very dirty and the drawers stick. They just clip into the rear of that portion of the dash that also could have held the cassette holder (I have one of those too if someone wants it). Al

| Here is the spoiler...
My guess is the problem with this red Riv is the crank sensor. When they quit there in no evidence and it is about the only nostart condition that you cannot diagnose with a tech ii or other good scanner. Let's just say the FIRST thing you do if you have this kind of nostart and the crank sensor has 50K miles on it or more is replace it.
If that does not work the other fail point that escapes diagnosis is the ignition switch (not the lock). If the contacts for the run circuit get burned enough the car wont start. They burn over time. If your riv has more than 100 K miles you are due.
If you are mechanical, thing to do is pull the harmonic balancer and replace the crank sensor. You need a pluuer with special bolts, they are not hard to find and you might be able to borrow one from a local parts store if you don't have one.
The if switch just requires opening the clamshell around the steering column.
Finally if you are parting out ill make you an offer for some parts... but I am pretty sure you are looking at a failed CKP (NOT THE CAM SENSOR) or the ig switch.
