| well suspended license for sure and probly fines if i don't show up or fail like 3 times or don't fix it within some grace period. whats really queer is if i lived about a mile or so west, i wouldn't be tested. my friend moved to that area and just in time because he finished building his 78 malibu with swapped engine and exhaust system, obviously no cats.
I think im kinda screwed though. i could actually pass the gas analyzation (sp)(real word?) and get past it but im pretty sure im screwed which is bs! i fudged the test with my 95 grand am i had but i dont think im doin it with this car
anyone replaced a cam sensor before on this?

| We have to get an inspection every year. Safety is every year and emissions is every other year. | |

| Nah, Fla is fine. I can put up with the heat, and Florida has some good things going for it, like perfect roads (less construction!), and legal U-turns! _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| Arizona has emissions also. It was really hard getting the Turbo cars through but now AZ passed a law for 15 yr and older cars so I can now insure them as collectable with no emissions. No more draining tanks, changing injectors, putting the cat back on etc etc. | |

| Ok so I passed the test today I fixed the wiring and stuff so that's all good but I just have the PO420 catalyst inefficiency code that comes up after a couple trips so I cleared that code and drove to the testing place and passed woohoo! Huge load off my back.
Anyway, it's not a big deal. Basically if the MIL is off and there isnt black smoke pouring out the front of the car, you're good.
IL emissions ain't that bad A programmer could pass it no matter what. They don't do anything sneaky at all on OBDII

| FL has no testing, take er off "the list" if you cant take the FL heat, move to an emission's state. i'm so glad we dont have it any more. i would probably pass, even though i dont have a cat, so long as they dont look under the car. my SES light almost never comes on for low cat efficiency. (kinda weird actually) i can sit idle all day, drive it hard, hot or cold, and i have no 02 sim, yet the only time i get an 02 code is on long trips sustained around 65/70mph(if i do 80 the whole way it wont set it either). i guess i just run so effieciently, i dont even need a cat. _________________ 1996 with 254k miles, L32 4" FWI -> ported N* -> Ported Gen V w/3.0" Pulley, Stage 3 Phenolic I/C, ZZP FMHE, 1.84 RR, Headers and 3" pipe to mufflers, F-body brakes, and lowered on Eibachs. -RIP AMG C400 White on black.
