Today was the show for the 2011 BCA Nationals. It was 15 minutes from my house, so I had NO excuse not to show up!!!

very nice that's my next Riv,the yellow 65,but mines is black. Pictures soon!!! That's one sweet ride.

Gotta check out the full album. I'm not going to post them all here, but there were 300+ cars at the show. I did not get pictures of them all, but some highlights. 1915-1999 Buicks of all sorts - had to be 12 years old to be in the show.

I entered my 92 Riv to be 400 point judged at the BCA National in Danvers. It won a Senior Gold award. And to think, Derek didn't take a picture of my car. It was parked in the upper level along with the other 20 Rivs.

I don't know how I didn't see you there. Congratulations! Were you hanging out with the white '99s when I stopped by? (just as the judges were walking up the row)

Yes, I was up at the 99's along with all the other Rivieras....parked in front of an 83 fire mist red convertible and three white last generation Riv's. They judged all the Riv's as one class....3 senior gold's were awarded...my 92, a pearl white 99 (IL), and a black 79 (NY), both belonging to long-time ROA members and friends of mine. I thought I was in for a rough inspection since two of the five judges are fellow club members/friends (1 ROA & 1 BCA).

Wow, I completely missed the red convertible. I wonder if they had already judged them and the cars left before I got there. They were just judging the '99s when I was there.

Bummer...We must have just crossed paths. I think the 99's were judged 1st (maybe 2nd) and I know mine was judged last.

Also, there were over 300 Buicks on display and over 700 people registered for this 5 day National meet. I was there for all 5 days....
