| I'm grateful for the warm welcome I've received in these forums. Thank you for letting me share my new acquisition. The car is a nice, 51,000-mile one-owner Buick that was offered on craigslist, about one mile from my home. I love the car! When I have an opportunity, I'll list out the options from the original window sticker here. A few quick photos I shot yesterday: I didn't realize until I saw this image on the computer that I had my steering wheel turned upside down for this photo, but you get the idea! | |

| Very very nice... I'm guessing it was garage-kept? The cornering lenses look nice and clear and the tail light chrome surround isn't worn away from what I can see.
You and I share something in common: I bought my 98 from a guy about 1 mile away from my house too!

| Every time I see one of these well-kept Rivs, I marvel at what beautiful cars they really are. Timeless styling that only gets better with age. | |

| Looks great. I like the color combo I wish my paint were that good. I have the "steel wool" effect and some other dings. I have the real wood shift surround out of a 1996, which may be the only year they had real wood from what I can tell. I'm going to put it on my 95 | |

| OK Brian, time to post pics of those 7 spoke original chromes and Toyo 900z's you purchased. Glad there's another WA Riv owner posting. | |

| I can't wait to see yours' and Jim's Rivs at the next big Buick get together (that's right, you're obligated now ) but at the same time, nervous! There'll finally be other 8th gens at the meets...and they're much younger than my daily Riv! | |

| My wife and I enjoyed our first out-of-town trek in the Riviera during the weekend, celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary and enjoying the historic homes and downtown of Ellensburg, Washington. The Riviera is a fun and fabulous road car, a real pleasure to drive on a trip like this. | |

Walla Walla is definitely on our list, Jim! We'll make it over there someday. My wife and I discussed it again during the weekend. We're closing on the sale of my late parents' home in Baker City (NE Oregon) tomorrow, and we'll need to begin looking for new reasons to travel east of the mountains.
