| I see pics like these and all I can think is "People still go into dealerships and buy the aveo, the fit, the matrix, the camry, the 200.....why?" I've yet to see that color in person but it probably still turns heads all day long | |

| Got my windows tinted a few months ago. I finally decided to go with 15% on the back and back sides, with 25% on the driver and passenger's window. I also went to a paintless dent removal shop and got all of my door dings removed from the previous owner. That was probably the best money I've spent, as I'm really picky about that type of stuff. Here's a few pics of the car, it was a little dark out when I took them. I'll post better ones of the interior and exterior when I finally get a sunny day. Also, I'm going to install stereo, and I posted a reply in the double din thread in the audio section. If you have any experience in that area, I could really use some advice. Thanks! | Looks good. I do think window tint improves the look of these cars. | |

| Thanks Chris! Hey for my stereo install I was asked by my audio shop to provide a write up for the dash removal. Is there a thread already about it? I've used the search bar but was unable to find it. | |

| Well here's the link for the writeup, but I see the pictures are gone. https://rivperformance.editboard.com/t1187-write-up-riv-dash-and-door-removal?highlight=write+-up Basically the two panels come off the side of the dash and there is a bolt on each side behind that panel holding part of the dash face on. You have to push in on the tabs on the black panel on the underside of the dash pad. Then theres bolts along the top of the dash face panel. That panel should just snap out of there then. Don't think I'm forgetting anything and I hope I wrote it so it makes sense. | |

| Here is a picture of my interior. Its been super cold and I haven't felt like getting outside and doing a photo shoot. This picture was taken at dusk and doesn't at all do it justice. The carpet is stain free the seats show no strain marks or signs of wear. When it warms up I'll take some more pictures and show you my new double din screen. | |

| Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long. A LOT has been done to my Rivi since the last time I posted. In case you haven't heard, the SLP headers I ordered were finally delivered to my house four months after purchasing them. (Long story) But everything was there and they look beautiful! Prior to the exhaust project, I built an aluminum FWI from Spectre Performance with an 8" K&N cone filter. Thanks J. Chris Davis for the awesome write-up! Me and my dad installed the headers this summer and went ahead and finished the exhaust project while we were at it. I went with 3" pipe to the Y and then split it into two 2.5" pipes. I have a 14" Magnaflow resonator and two Borla XS Pro mufflers. The sound is VERY deep and throaty. However, there's really not as much droan as you'd think. The XS Pro's are some of the quietest open-flow mufflers available and the resonator helps as well. After the exhaust, I continued the build and installed AL605 plugs and a 180 degree thermostat. Then I installed a 3.5 MPS, changed my supercharger oil, and replaced a worn coupler. After all of the mods, the car runs really strong and you can definitely feel more power in the upper RPMs. When you get on it, it sounds like a screaming banshee thanks to the FWI and exhaust. I absolutely love it! I'll provide some underhood pictures once I get the chance but in the meantime here's a few exterior shots to build the suspense. I had my taillight professionally tinted and I'm very happy with it. Dust free, mirror finish. Let me know what you think! | Nice work! Looks clean. The borla proXS is a very solid choice. They always sound pretty good | |

| This summer I entered my Rivi in her first ever car show and came home with three trophies! I couldn't believe it! There were over 100 beautiful cars at the show, and I came home with a Top 50 award, Best Interior Overall, and my personal favorite, the Best of Show trophy for participants under 21. Me and my dad were going crazy because we didn't expect me to come home with anything. The Best Interior trophy was quite the shocker as well. With street rods and their custom interiors, I didn't think I had a chance. That is, until I found out one of my judges was a older lady in her late 60s. She explained to me that she drove an older seventh generation Rivi and went car shopping in the mid 90s for a new one. She told me about how she test drove a supercharged Riviera and almost bought one until her husband convinced her to buy a truck. She still regrets it to this day but never forgot how comfortable the seats were and how good it handled on the open road. She asked if she could sit in it, and of course I obliged. After that I knew the trophy was as good as mine. The old lady seemed to be re-living her test driving experience in the front seat of my car. Anyways, I thought you guys might like this picture. Have any of you ever entered your Rivieras in any shows? | |
