| Dont want to jynx myself but i think i found a fix, turns out the maf sensor i got off of ebay was for the wrong car possibly an n/a 3800, but i was watching my long term fuel trim and it was pinned at a high percentage, swapped in my old maf and it starts reading how it should and my idle smoothed out along with the throttle response. | |

Cool. If you have the ability, I suggest you reset your Fuel Trims and clear the light. This way the engine has a "fresh" start to learn itself normal again.

| I'm not sure on that scanner. If it DOES have the ability to do so, there would be an option that says "Reset Fuel Trims" somewhere just like clearing the SES light. If not, it's no big deal. You can disconnect the battery for about 30 minutes and it should reset everything. | |

| thank you guys for all the help, disconnected my battery for about a min to clear everything. So this code is officially fixed i hope this will help someone else in the future because this code was a nightmare. One thing i learned is if you use ebay know exactly what you are buying, sellers half the time have no clue what they are selling and will lie that the part will work on your car... which is exactly what happened with my maf sensor. | |

| I hate to bring up an old thread, but this P0171 code has been haunting me for awhile now. I've replaced the LIM gaskets and any vacuum lines that we broke during the process. I sprayed around with some brake cleaner and couldn't find anything.
Every once in awhile, the transmission has a delay to when it actually shifts. This has thrown a P1811 code. If I manually shift through the gears, it shifts normal.
Also, at idle (~780RPM in drive and ~880RPM in park) I can hear this faint ticking sound. I'm not sure what it is, but It's always there and idle is the only time I can hear it.
