semi related question. how do we get the ssunroof to stay open when the cars off? ( just noticed it in your pic.. looks just like mine.. i wish i had that interior

Wheels - junk yard 98/PA, "R" caps - GMPartsCenter.net, tires - Toyo Z-900's w chrome stems and inside behind spoke sticky weight balancing.  

Perfect....told u brother you needed chrome.Now.....very important.....see if you have vibration @65-70 mp.

What a sick Riv... love the charcoal interior. Rivit, you did the same thing I did. I had the old alloy wheels on my Riv during the first 3-4 years I owned it then switched over to the chromes like you did.

GMPartsCenter.net, Part #: 9592595, price $84.76 X 4 $339.04 +$8.95 handling =$347.99   (my Christmas present to myself) Caps cost me more than the wheels  But at least didn't have to buy chrome lug nuts

Your a lucky man Jim, that's a "like new Riv". Treat her good and keep her outta the weather. Are those "R" caps new? By the way, I checked GMPartsCenter.net for those "R" caps, the diagrams are not really clear, which part number is the cap you purchased?

Actually, you probably wouldn't be able to tell 'cause your car didn't come with those rims and caps, but next time you have the caps off, can you take a pic of them, ( or I could just ask the guys at GMPartsCenter:tongue: ) but I just wanted to see if the "legs" behind your caps are of the same design as the chrome blank caps that are offered over the internet which I bought for my Dads PA. Those caps have a different design from the OEM ones and can go on and off a million time and never crack. The OEMs are very fragile and if they ever fell into the hands of a careless mechanic you would be sure to lose a couple of them. But if these are new, have the new leg design and include the "R"?, then these are a good deal.

Thanks for the pics Jim. Just wanted to let you know that those are OEM caps, in other words they have the fragile legs, so be careful man, take 'em off when they're warm.

Nice caps, I need 1 possibly two of those R caps. I downgraded to the blanks when one fell off and another has broken clips that can probably be rigged. I'm thinking bought ordering one at least to put the R caps back on there
