Transmission can't find gear?

Subject: Transmission can't find gear? Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:46 pm

So, just had a field day (week) putting stuff in the Buick. Now after all these fresh parts, the old gal won't find gear after coming off a stop on longer drives. Shifts a little hard, but it has since we got it. I've read something or other about the solenoid becoming sticky, but I thought I'd check here and see if the Riv guys knew what is going on.

I was heading to the "What did you do to your Buick today" to post it buuut, new blinker bulbs in front and rear (going to do a write up on those PITAs when Minnesota thaws), fresh alternator, fresh belt, and a shiny new idler pulley. Fun times.
