| I've seen them around. A dealer or aftermarket add-on, seen often on Cadis. Not the best look for the Riviera, imo. _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

| I think I'd like it more if: A) it was a convertible, or B) it came that way from the factory. Back in the day GM made real hardtops with vinyl roofs that looked good. They don't do it anymore, so now it's an add-on made of canvas, and those little metal snaps make it look that way. Reminds me of a boat cover... _________________ '05 GTO 6.0L • 6-spd • 95k miles • 0-60: 4.8s • 16.9 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:26'95 Celica GT 2.2L • 5-spd • 165k miles • 0-60: yes'98 SC Riviera • 281k miles • 298 HP/370 TQ • 0-60: 5.79s • ET: 13.97 @ 99.28 • 4087 lb • 20.1 avg MPG • Nelson Ledges Lap: 1:30 3.4" pulley • AL104 plugs • 180º t-stat • FWI w/K&N • 1.9:1 rockers • OR pushrods • LS6 valve springs • SLP headers • ZZP fuel rails KYB GR2 struts • MaxAir shocks • Addco sway bars • UMI bushings • GM STB • Enkei 18" EV5s w/ Dunlop DZ101s • F-body calipers EBC bluestuff/Hawk HP plus • SS lines • Brembo slotted discs • DHP tuned • Aeroforce • Hidden Hitch^^^ SOLD ^^^ '70 Ninety-Eight Holiday Coupe 455cid • 116k miles^^^ SOLD ^^^ | |

That combination on a "REAL" convertible would be sharp! I think it looks pretty good on the Reatta anyway. I did talk to a guy that put a Series I Supercharged 3800 into a Reatta, says it runs real good?!?

| the soft top would make the Riv even more so a granny mobile. I don't think it would compliment the look you Riv has going for it. Painting the bottom plastic panels would add much more charecter than a soft top. | |

It's a hard top, with a soft padded covering on the roof. Far too "formal" looking for my tastes. Seen a couple around here.

| This weekend I saw a white Ford Fusion with a Creme' colored fabric top (Landau/Carriage Top-style).
For a Fusion it was an amazing transformation from cheap sedan to a luxury feel.
I liked it soo much I'd have it done to my Fusion if I owned one. Some color combos are better than others.

| A 'carriage roof', it's called. Gives an infinite amount of class to almost any car it's on. I've seen a couple of Rivs with it, one of them is on this website, and a few Chrysler 300's. Caddies and Lincolns always have them, and some Buicks and Mercuries as well. A classic American touch to the design. | |
